Born and raised in Rockingham County, Virginia, Benjamin Kunkle brings a deep-rooted understanding of homes, construction, and the local landscape to every inspection. With over 10 years of hands-on experience in the Construction, Homebuilding, & Maintenance trades—ranging from residential maintenance to full-scale homebuilding—Benjamin has developed a keen eye for identifying both structural integrity and maintenance issues that others might overlook.

Mentored by the respected William Browne, Benjamin quickly rose through the ranks to become not just a skilled inspector but a trusted mentor to others. Over the years, he has guided multiple aspiring inspectors toward licensure and business ownership, sharing his expertise and passion to help them build successful careers of their own.

After acquiring the business from William upon his retirement, Benjamin rebranded it as Health of Home Consulting - carrying forward a mission rooted in integrity, craftsmanship, and client advocacy. His inspections draw on real-world building experience and a deep commitment to helping clients protect what matters most: their investment, their family, and their peace of mind.

When he’s not on-site performing inspections, Benjamin can often be found managing or working hands-on with one of his own building, repair, or investment projects. As the owner of Health of Home Consulting, his dedication to long-term property health, precision, and service excellence is at the core of everything he does.

Outside of work, Benjamin’s heart belongs to his family, his passion for two wheels, and the rugged beauty of Central Virginia & West Virginia. A lifelong animal lover, he shares his home with his wife, Kali, and their three dogs—Phoebe, Lila, and Lassie. If he’s not on the job or with his family, chances are he’s exploring the back roads and trails of West Virginia, investing in his love for motocross, off-road racing, and the adventure that comes with entrepreneurship & life on two wheels.
